You Know You're Getting Up There In Years When

I went to check my work schedule for next week and saw that I had off on next Saturday. My first thought was: "Wow, now I can go to bed early on Saturday!"

I don't think many people in their 18-27 year range think about going to bed early on their day off. I must be doomed.

That Awkward Stage

I'm at this awkward blogging stage on here. Where it's like, I'm new and don't know much or have anyone really reading, and I don't want to jump right on in, but also where in order for me to find readers I do need to jump on in. It's just a real awkward deal. I suppose I should just post like no one's reading and do what I need to do.

That's really all for now.

Debut Of An Average Blogger

Hi there!

My name's Ivie. I live an average, somewhat boring, very normal life. Nothing awesome happens like in the stories I write online. Nothing amazing goes on behind closed doors. Just a normal life here. And people seem to hate normal lives. No one wants to live normally. Everyone wants to be different.

Wait.

That's the way I want it to be too. But it's not. Just me here.

It's not my mission to dazzle you all with amazing things, but to at least entertain you with things that go on in my life or with things I happen to observe. Now, I know not everyone's going to flock to this blog and refresh it every few minutes to see when I write something new cause I'm average, and I'll probably have the average amount of followers, but it would be nice to let it all out there in case that one person is looking for something, anything to make them think of something other than what's going on in their life.

Mine is by no means hectic. Busy, yes. Crazy, not really...unless it's a crazy day at work.

Maybe I should end this with some facts about myself...? Okay...here it goes:

I love to write. In fact, I post what I write on many different sites. One being at Around the Writing Rainbow. It's a Wordpress blog. It looks a little dusty and dry now, but you just wait! It'll be full of life soon!

My laptop is currently broken which saddens me and makes me appear online less. My hope is to be on here and leave you with something at least every other day. But when I say "appear online less" it means I'm rarely on social networking sites and such. What a pity. How shall I promote this blog?

I'm over 18 but younger than 28. That's a good range to leave you with. I'm a kid at heart and old in soul. Does that make sense? Let me know. It sure does sound pretty cool.

I ramble. Even when I don't mean to. I do. Even typing. Sometimes I let my fingers do all the talking without me stopping to think if I should have typed that. It's okay....I generally re-read everything before I publish it.

For now, that's all. I have to go beatify my page and all that good stuff!
